Custom ring jewelry is a perennial favorite among my customers. Sometimes a customer will come in with a picture of a design from an art book, sometimes a customer will come in with a ring that she saw in a jewelry design catalog, but wanted a variation that was not available in the catalog. This is actually very common. Someone will see a ring design in a catalog and want a variation on that design. Another common scenario is that someone will have inherited some jewelry and wants to use it in a different way that it was used before.
The ring shown is this post is from a ring design that I did for a man in Clearwater, Florida. He wanted to take some diamonds that he had inherited and use them to make a 25th anniversary ring for his wife. So, we sat down and using my CAD design software, created the variation of the ring that he was looking for. In this case, the man had come in looking to create a 25 year anniversary ring using four oval diamonds that he had inherited from his mother.
The ring itself was made with four 20 point oval diamonds and 14 carat white gold. The first two images you see in this post are digital renderings of the final product. The last one is a picture of the final ring.
